Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus,

    This month I want to draw our attention to the love of God. Did you know that the Father loves you as much as He loves Jesus? It’s true. Let’s look at John 17:23 (KJV) 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. This is not just talking about the disciples, this is also talking about you and me; think about that, God loves you as much as he loves Jesus. The love that our Father has for us is revealed to us in our spirit man, Paul called him the inner man; Romans 5:5 (AMP) 5 Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. Think about that for a moment not only does the Father love us, but He pours that love out in our heart so that we can love others. You might say “I don’t feel like I have the love of God to give to others” but you do. You see we are not led by how we feel, nor do we love others by how we feel, we are led, and we love by faith. You might say “I don’t know if I have enough faith to love certain people, because of what they have done” that might be true in the natural, but the love of God is not a natural love, it is supernatural. Jesus said that people would know that we are His disciples by our love one for another, but Brother Wayne you just don’t know what they did to me. You’re right I don’t know what they did to you, but I know what Jesus has done IN you. It may be that you have to distance yourself from certain people and that’s ok, sometimes it’s easier to love from a distance.  I want to encourage you to not just think about how much the Father loves you but meditate on it. Make this your confession “my Father in Heaven loves me as much as He loves Jesus.

If you have never made Jesus the Lord of your life, pray this simple prayer,” Father I recognize that I am a sinner in need of a savior. You said in your word Romans 10:9-10 that if I would believe in my heart the Lord Jesus and confess with my mouth that God raised Jesus from the dead that I would be saved. I believe it in my heart and confess it with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and I believe in my heart that He was raised from the dead and now I am saved. If you prayed that prayer let us know.
